The Wimaxit Portable Monitor is Perfect for Remote Working
These days, most of us are working from home and expanding our work spaces. I like to keep things relatively compact so that I can work anywhere around the house, including outdoors. As a video producer, I often need more screen real estate but my full sized monitor is too heavy to carry around. And that's where the Wimaxit portable monitor fits my lifestyle.
So here's what I like. The Wimaxit keeps things simple with it's quick and easy plug and play design using a USB-C cable. It also features a simple cover that doubles as a stand. The resolution is only 1080p but with HDR screen performance, images are sharp and detailed. It even supports HDMI in case you're not using USB-C. The Wimaxit's 15.6 inch size makes using it feel like a regular desktop monitor with solid viewing angles and excellent image quality.
Having a secondary monitor gives your desktop more room for multitasking. For video editing, it allows you to resize your windows for better efficiency. And since most of my days are spent video conferencing, it's ideal for providing more space for that as well. I can even use it as a field monitor for video shoots.
So that's all good but what are the cons? Well for one thing, although it features an internal speaker with volume controls, the sound quality is too weak to be considered useable. But you can easily fix that by connecting the monitor to headphones or a speaker. With that said, this really isn't the kind of monitor that's meant to pump quality audio. The Wimaxit is designed to be as thin and portable as possible since it really can go anywhere you need it to go.
So if you’re looking for a solid portable monitor that fits into your remote working lifestyle then the Wimaxit is a solid recommend.
